In The Board Room, check out the thread "coming in May/June/July/August" for upcoming badges. Underneath the Rules and Guidelines is information on badges that are already out there. Some badges are "ongoing" such as fanfiction writers or uploading pictures to the gallery (don't know the min number). Some badges are done - they won't be offered again - such as actors' birthday celebration badges or "how many can we stuff in chat 2011".

From your question, I suspect that you're a fledgling badge hound (we encourage this behavior )
