Thanks so much for a wonderful Bonanza family welcome! I have loved the show since it first aired here, and most westerns in general too, perhaps one day we might make it out there to see some of the sights, including Lake Tahoe etc. As you can tell from my avatar pic, I also love the old American Standard 4-4-0 locomotives, so hope to see one running one day (on my list to do before my toes curl upwards).
As to ellie asking about my sci-fi connection, look at the blue box on my avatar, yes I do have a Tardis, though not in full working order!!! I might have a few Daleks around the place too, so if you know the series they came from Doctor Who, I was involved in some small way a few years ago. If I could get it working, you would all be welcome to visit Ben & the boys, whilst us guys try to get to the bottom of the (almost) weekly engagement problems, and how many elligible girls there actually were in the area!

While I'd love to go back in time if you get that thing working, I think my husband might protest. :) But welcome!! And I love old trains, too. When the Virginia and Truckee is a little longer (the shortline from Virginia City to Reno) and has a few more cars, I'm heading down there for a ride. If they get the tunnels restored, it should be quite exciting compared to the tame railroads on the prairies here.
