Does anyone else do this?

Every time either my mother and I (My Grandmother did the exact same thing) see Bing Russell in any other Western, you automatically call him Clem no matter what his name is in the show? As a joke, if he did something wrong, one of us would say: "Clem! How could you?" Surely it's a joke, but that just pops into my mind whenever I see him. Guess that's a good thing for him leaving an impact on pop culture for back then?
