Thanks, everyone! I really enjoyed reading all of the responses and I am so glad to hear that I'm not the only one who feels that way about Joe's hair! One of you said something about first seeing him in Little House and it's funny because I am almost positive that I saw that first as well. I'm not sure because I first saw both shows at such young age so I won't swear to it but I'm almost certain that I saw that first. This is mostly because I remember my mom telling me while we watched Bonanza that Michael Landon was from Little House but I'm not sure if this happened the first time I saw Bonanza or later on. Anyway, I've never been a huge Little House fan myself but I have fond memories of watching it with my siblings and cousins on Thanksgiving while we all sat on my family's little plastic picnic table in the family room. Later on in my life my siblings and I started watching it at our friends house almost every week and at the point I started to avoid it because it was freaking me out (there was an episode where there were rats in the grain or something and everyone was dead and then one where a little boy, named Graham I believe, was being beaten by his drunken father) and then sometimes it just made me too sad (the one where they have a baby boy and he dies). As a kid, that was some pretty scary stuff. Our friends loved Little House so whenever they watched Bonanza with us all they could talk about was how skinny and little he was and how he looked so funny with short hair. I honestly didn't even notice the difference. Now, that's not to say that I couldn't see a difference. I just didn't pay much attention to it. He was Little Joe and when I watched Little House with my friends he was Charles Ingalls. I was aware that he was the same actor but I just didn't think about it. But as I started watching more and more Bonanza and he looked more and more like Charles Ingalls, I noticed it. I think it just bothered me because he was supposed to be Little Joe and he didn't look the same. At this point, I've watched so much Bonanza and have grown so used to seeing him as Joe that I can't even seem to look at a picture of him from the end of show or after that without thinking, "He doesn't look right." I haven't watched Little House is years but I'm pretty sure that if I watched it now I would act exactly the way my friends did when they saw Bonanza.

That turned into something really long! Sorry. I have a bad habit of rambling.

They sound right to me but it's been so long that I couldn't even say!

I looked up Child Of Pain just now and that was definitely it. The reason I'm so certain of that is his name. It's sort of funny that I still remember the kid's name but there's a reason for it. We were all freaked out while we watched it so we started called him Graham Cracker and making jokes about it that actually weren't that amusing but it kept the mood light. I still had nightmares about it that night though...
