Thank you for the Ponderosa welcome, everyone! However, I'm still trying to get the hang of the forum. I wanted to post about an episode ("The First Born") but the topic was locked. It also appears that the search function is disabled(because I'm a newbie?). Should I just get started and start an episode-specific topic?

Thank you for the Ponderosa welcome, everyone! However, I'm still trying to get the hang of the forum. I wanted to post about an episode ("The First Born") but the topic was locked.

Jim Barnsby! I certainly remember you from BW.

So the reason why "The First Born" is locked is because a few years ago we were doing a feature "What Was Right, What Was Wrong" and we randomly picked episodes for a while. Then we decided to resurrect that old feature because we have so many new members now and we wanted to now go in order of the episodes.

So as not to confuse our old feature from a few years ago, I locked all the old ones and we started again.

All episode discussions can be found in the Bonanza Viewpoints forum with this topic icon

But that doesn't mean you can start a discussion on an episode you want to talk about now.

So go ahead and start the discussion yourself. Just don't start the topic "What Was Right, What Was Wrong", LOL We won't be up to The First Born for quite some time.

It's not disabled. I just checked and it is not working, so I've put in a request with my host for him to take a look at it. Will update the status of this issue in our tech assistance forum.
