Just wanted to say hi to all Bonanza boomers and tell you I have no idea how this all works, but I'll get it at some point, lol.
I'm enjoying the Bonanza reruns on UK tv, and have rediscovered my first tv hero crush. I loved/love Bonanza, the characters, stories and Cartwright family ethos combined to make it an ideal, safe place to escape to every week. Who would not want to experience such a loving, strong family bond. Friendships to trust and support you. Add wonderful horses and beautiful scenery and this loner,city kid was hooked for life.
Joe Cartwright still plays havoc with my emotions, even more so now I can fully appreciate the acting brilliance of Michael Landon. The whole cast just ooze quality,and its fun to rediscover the gem moments long forgotten.
Anyhooo, I just wanted to say hi and hope to visit as often as I can.
