Did Adam ever talk to Sport?

I know Joe talked to Cochise a number of times and had lots of moments with him, and Ben talked to Buck occasionally, and I just saw an episode where Hoss talked to Chub and even addressed him as "Chub." But I've never seen Adam do that with Sport, so I was just wondering if there is a time when he does.

I'm not an animal person (at all actually) but I must admit those Joe/Cochise moments are pretty cute.
