Vendetta marks the first of three appearances on Bonanza by Simon Scott. You might also remember him as Evan Thorpe on All Ye His Saints and as Judge John Farraday on the Late Ben Cartwright.
Fans of Trapper John, MD will remember him as well, he played the part of Arnold Slocum.

In Vendetta, he plays former prosecuting attorney Tom Pryor, the man responsible for the hanging of an innocent man in Virginia City. He's now turned into the town drunk, trying to drown away his guilt. But when Hoss needs help to save Pa from the Morgan gang, Tom Pryor is the only one that steps up.
Simon Scott was born in 1920 in Monterey CA. and passed away in 1991 from Alzheimers. Was not able to find much at all on his personal life.
However, his acting resume is very long. He was an excellent character actor. He made multiple appearances on the Wild Wild West, Mod Squad, McHales Navy (where he was a regular), 77 Sunset Strip, Ironside, Mannix, The Fugitive, The Munster, Twilight Zone and the list goes on and on.
Truly a very talented character actor!
