Hi There, I have been looking around the forum site and decided to say Hi, instead of lurking.
I was a junior in high school when Bonanza first debuted, we had a B/W set and not much input into viewing, so I went down the street to watch it with a girl who had a big crush on LJ.
Then, I discovered Bonanza again on TV Land and just fell in love with PR. What's not to like?
So, I ordered the official season one and two DVD sets from CBS, and they are really nice.
However, I have seen the complete collection of 433 episodes (removed), anyone have any experience, input on t his?
Also am ordering the TJMD DVD collection, any one have a favorite vendor for that one?
This seems to be a very nice, thoughtful forum, and I am looking forward to visiting frequently.

to Bonanza Boomers Patrees, we're glad you've joined us.

Since Bonanza Boomers is an officially licensed website, our only discussion regarding purchase can be of the 31 public domain episodes that have been released a while back and the officially released Bonanza DVDs. In the USA, seasons 1 & 2 and in Germany seasons 1-7.

Anything else is a fake and most likely copied from a TV station. Unlike the official released versions, which are un cut and digitally remastered. There's no comparison.

P.S. That goes for trapper too. Nothing for TJMD has been released. Just air copies, or copies from copies.
