WHY DO YOU THINK ADAM IS CLOTHED IN ALL BLACK?

I am very curious as to your opinions, ladies(and sly guys) as to WHY you think they chose to cloth Adam in ALL black in the series. Here is what I think: i think they always put Adam in ALL BLACK, to show that he does NOT belong (accentuating his inner aloofness) and that let's face it (since I am an east coast gal), everyone on the east coast, specifically the new england states wear black and brown, muted colours.
