The Season Six Blues and a Question.

Post by Ponderosa Dreamer »

:ranch Well Boomergals, TVLand has rolled around to that point in Season Six where Adam completely disappears. Although his last Adam-centered episode is Dead and Gone (I always thought that was kind of creepy, that it had that title and was his last major Bonanza appearance.), he also appears in A Good Night's Rest and To Own the World.

So I was wondering: Have there been any articles or is there any 'oral history' on what the vibe was on the set just after PR left? I know there's the official verbiage of "we wish him well" and "we know he wants to do other things" stuff, but was there anything reported by any of the cast about how they felt when they returned to the set after his last day to continue filming the remaining Season Six episodes? Did they feel a loss, or a hole in the family or in the dynamic?

Any opinions of your own, Ladies?
