
Viveca Lindfors was born Elsa Viveca Torstensdotter Lindfors in Sweden in 1920. She began acting in Sweden, appearing in a number of movies, before she moved to the United States to appear in Warner Brothers films. Besides her movie and TV roles, she also acted in many stage productions, including Broadway. She was in Night Unto Night with Ronald Reagan; she also appeared in an episode of Trapper John, M.D.. In the 90s she moved back to Sweden to act onstage. She passed away in 1995 from complications of rheumatoid arthritis.
