Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Meet Dracula 1977

Post by Janet the Wicked » Fri Nov 08, 2019 8:04 am

While in Europe searching for their missing father, the Hardy Boys meet Nancy Drew and team up on a case that takes them to a rock festival in Transylvania held at Dracula's castle. (IMDB)

I found this on You Tube the other night. Watched it again this morning. Lorne plays Inspector Stavlin.
Shaun Cassidy sings, "Come on everybody get down get with it, that's rock and roll. LOL!! I wondered whatever became of the fringe vest I used to wear and my platform shoes. Whew, the 70s were weird, man.

There a couple of references to Bonanza. Paul Williams' character is under arrest and when LG passes in front of him, PW does a bit of the Bonanza theme song out the side of his mouth.
He says he's going to "turn this town into a hole in the map". Ba doom boom.

It was an okay two parter episode. I prefer to see LG in something upbeat and happy because that's the kind of guy he was.
Is that all you can think about at a time like this, cake???

Touch nothing!
