Hoss is the big one. He's strong, gentle, caring, excepting, trusting. He was (at least) once called the best tracker in Nevada Territory (an episode in season 1 I think). I know most of my Bonanza sisters will disagree but I just don't understand why everyone isn't ga-ga over Hoss! A woman could drown in those blue eyes of his.
