to BB, Barb! Just read your story and was enthralled. What a wonderful experience it must have been, meeting this wonderful man in person, not only once, but twice in one year (like Pony, I would never have recovered from the first encounter in time )
I think I can comprehend your feelings about it, because luckily, I have some of these memories, too: A treasure, like a pearl, tucked away in a safe place and taken out from time to time to cherish and enjoy remembering, even after many many years.

Thankyou for your comment, Desiree, and the little 'saying'. How true!! I have had 'our' picture in my wallet the past 44 years and look at it often.
From your post, I was unsure if you had read my story from the outside link I provided on my first post on Introduce Yourself, or had read the story with my pictures posted a couple of weeks ago on Bonanza Boomers, under Michael Landon, and then the first topic, Meeting Michael Landon.
