Little Joe's horse

I got to thinking today and I was wondering does anyone know if they used the same pinto horse as Little Joe's horse through out the series or did they just use horses that looked similar? A lot of westerns used more than one horse through their series and I was wondering if the one Little Joe rode was the same one or not. It's just a question I've been curious about for some time now. I've always loved pintos and Little Joe's was always such a pretty horse.
