I think the line about "checking it (a contract) with the college student" refers to Adam, though they never said his name.

This is a continuing story of One Ace Too Many, which I liked better. Ben's double comes back to cause more trouble and to make people think Ben is the one . I love when Ben is having a conversation with himself [his double] Ben takes care of that phony look-alike!

Personally, I liked both episodes. They were professionally done, as only Lorne Greene could do. He was very talented when it came to mixing drama and comedy.

this really shows off Lorne acting chops, I can imagine him having fun playing this character and the regular cast around him having to pretend he was the ben cartwright but really not. I felt he wore the "mask" very well. I only wish they had Joe and Hoss in this episode more it would have been interesting to see how they would react to there pa acting strange.
