Glory be. Sheriff Coffee is back on the job, and his competitor for sheriff in the election is not Clem Foster. And we are introduced to Harry Baker, the FOREMAN of the ranch who we have never seen before! But to top it off, Clarissa is going to stay in VC but we'll never see her again, I am sure!

No, we don't see her again. It would have been nice had the show been of a sort that had recurring characters but it wasn't like that back in the day.

Boy am I glad she's never seen again even though she's working in the bank!
Speaking of banks, I think I have counted so far three bankers. One or two when the banks were robbed, and now this one. One banker's daughter was accidentally killed by Horace, but wasn't that a different banker?!
What a mysterious relief to see Roy appear again out of nowhere...

I just watched this episode for the first time. It was interesting to see how one woman turned the whole town upside down! Yikes! Can't say I'm sorry to hear she's never in it again.

It would be interesting to have Clarissa as a member of your family. She meant well but didn't go about it correctly.

I disagree. She seemed to be a self-absorbed, narcissistic busybody who probably reflected a relative of Dortort or the writer....

Good bye and good riddance! Though I will say that she was merely clueless, unlike Lady Chadwick who was mean and manipulative.

Just saw this tonight for the first time. The character I sympathized with the most was Hop Sing. Having a visitor come into his kitchen and order him around as though he were a twelve-year-old must have been unendurable! I was impressed he lasted as long as he did before announcing he wanted to quit!

I loved this episode! It was one of the funniest I'd ever seen! Especially considering the fact that Nina Foch starred as Bithia in the movie, The Ten Commandments. I went home after watching this video at the library, and I remember telling my mom that, "Bithia moved out of Egypt and onto the Ponderosa!" It was hilarious!
