I saw this episode earlier today, and had only vague memories of most of it until one particular moment...

I knew when Joe got beaten up that the guy who did it was about to get the thrashin' of his life from big brother Hoss. For some reason those particular scenes stayed with me even after all these years. :mad

Poor Joe. He suffered a long time for a lot of us. (Good boy, Hoss. You beat the stuffin' out of that guy for what he did to Joe.) :hoss :joe

Good episode. Joe is at first upset with Hoss because he refuses to fight. Joe is enticed to fight when he says bad things about Hoss and is badly beaten. Hoss angrily tears into town to take care of the bully who beat Joe. Way to go Hoss!

Yes, and all of that after swearing he would never fight again. That was the emotional hook... :thumbup
