Thanks to Insp network, I've now seen this episode twice in the last couple of days. I stuck around both times, as I enjoyed watching Joe get out of the jam he was in.

Especially endearing is how upset Hoss was when they all learned Joe was one of the hostages. He just wasn't going to stand for that. Good man, Hoss!

We get to see suffering, tied up Joe! My favorite part of the episode. Interesting how several people kept disappearing, including Joe, and only Joe is brave enough to try to escape. That's Joe for ya! I love the chase and Hoss finally finding Joe and bringing him back to pa. Great ending!

I liked this episode too. It's funny how the writers always played Little Joe as the damsel in distress. :laughing Every episode he's kidnapped, beaten, hogtied, bushwhacked, shot, feverish, etc. I wonder what ML thought about it?

I've wondered what Mike thought of all of that, too. Some years were just worse than others, but it would be fun to know. I suspect he had a sense of humor about it. :lol
