I also liked the Adam/Joe moments. The writers dropped the ball on those two Cartwrights; they should have featured them in more stories. Anyway, this was one of my favorite episodes.

Very solid Adam/Joe episode. Not a combination you see often enough.

But could somebody please explain why a high budget, well crafted show like Bonanza didn't make the effort to create imaginative episode titles? "The Lila Conrad Story" is all they could come up with? It's incredibly annoying.

can you read the lines on adam's lips ? on Adam's face ? The moment he did hear Joe's confession, he couldn't believe it. But after the shock, Adam had total support for JOe.

and then he did step in to stop Joe, in the middle of a fight.

But at the end, they were great together, defending this young lady. I love the line when Adam did say : and you forgot one, she's a human being.
