I loved watching Gunsmoke too! Ken Curtis had a wonderful singing voice and you'd be surprised once you heard him!

Gunsmoke had better plots than the average western TV show of the day. Even better plots than Bonanza. :scared3

Bonanze, however, had the best looking actors! :yes

One thing that surprises me about gun smoke is that in some episodes the main character is hardly seen, but it works

I remember one thing he mentioned is that after several years they started to give the actors a break by moving the focus of many episodes to the guest stars. You can really see this in the later seasons.
