You and my mother both. I never cared much for Gregory Peck. Except, of course, in The Big Country. But that's about it.

Well, there is only one role with Gregory Peck I never cared much for; when he was the pervert in "Duel in the Sun." I am actually surprised that movie made it past the censors in 1947 considering how tight they were. I will never, ever watch that movie again.

The other movie I liked with Gregory Peck was called "Yellow Sky." It starred him and Richard WIdmark, as well as Anne Baxter, who we all know, of course, played Nefertiri in the great epic "The Ten Commandments." It was about Peck and Widmark, with some other friends of theirs, trying to find gold in the mountains. Has anyone seen that?

The Rifleman was a great show. They did a lot in thirty minutes. Chuck Connors wasn't bad either.

The Rifleman needed more music, in my opinion. It seemed they only had a half dozen tracks that they ran behind the footage, as opposed to Bonanza, where they composed new music every few episodes or so, depending on the episode and the occasion.
These users thanked the author Cartwright fan. for the post:

Chuck Connors looked very much the Rifleman, but he was from Brooklyn, NY and his real name was Joseph White. I always thought it was amazing how he got those blue jeans to fit oh so perfectly :ha
