I like The Rifleman. Started watching reruns of it when I was in junior high. It was one of my dad's favorites when he was a kid, so, he watched the reruns.

I can't believe there's a topic for The Rifleman! I love the show. My grandma never watched it. She only liked actors who she could see their eyes. She died when I was born, but my mom told me she always called Chuck Connors "Squinty." Because she couldn't see his eyes clearly. It was the same way with Robert Mitchum. My grandma didn't like him, either.

I remember when Johnny Crawford put out several songs, like Your Nose Is Gonna Grow and Patty Ann. My older sister had all of his records[old 45's] Johnny grew up to become an orchestra conductor and was a guest star in LHOP [The Hunter] He was a cutie as Mark.

I knew Johnny Crawford sang, but I didn't know he put out records. As for his guest spots, did you know he had a role on an episode of Hawaii Five-O? The episode was called, "By the Numbers."

I watch "The Rifleman" too. It is the only thing I ever liked Chuck Conners in. I can't stand him in "The Capture of Grizzly Adams" or in "Roots" where he's Master Tom Moore who rapes the slave women when they arrive at his farm. Lucas McCain was his best role.

Chuck Connors played so many different roles. He played Sam Bass with Michael Landon very early in Michael's career and also played in the movie Flipper, before it became a tv show. He was already doing The Rifleman when Flipper became a show. I liked him best as a good guy!

How about the time when he played a wimp in the movie "The Big Country"? He tried to get Jean Simmons, who was in love in Gregory Peck, who was engaged to Carroll Baker. Chuck Connors played a wimp when it came to his father, played by Burl Ives.
