“Northwest Passage” was a 26-episode, half-hour television series that ran from 1958-1959. Based on a novel of the same name, the show takes place during the French and Indian War (1756–1763).

Below is a link to an episode guest-starring Pernell Roberts:

The episodes told the story of trials and tribulations encountered while searching for the Northwest Passage, including battles with both the French and Indians during this war.

Keith Larsen starred as Major Robert Rogers – a role played by Spencer Tracy in the film of the same title. The Major was an experienced explorer and Indian fighter.

When I first started reading your post, I thought it was the ep PR was in. Keith Larsen was a nice looking man. Seems funny to me seeing Buddy in a show like this.

Thanks Tracy

I have seen several episodes as reruns, probably on GRIT. I don't think I saw the one with Pernell in it so maybe I'll watch it later. Thanks for the link, Tracy! :thumbup

Tracy, thanks for the link! :thankyou

Great pictures!

I know that PR was in there, but I haven't seen the series before. As far as I remember it didn't run on German TV.
