Ken Lynch appeared on Bonanza nine times. He was in "Blood on the Land," "The Beginning," "My Brother's Keeper" (as Dowd), "Journey Remembered" (as Wilkes the drunken wagonmaster), "The Lonely Runner," "Joe Cartwright, Detective," "Commitment at Angelus," "Company of Forgotten Men," and "The Younger Brothers' Younger Brother" (as the Warden). He played a lot of Bonanza bad guys! Here he is as the deputy sheriff, Garrett, in "Commitment at Angelus."

Ken Lynch was born in 1910. He started out in radio and then moved to TV (and some movies, but mostly TV). He was best known for playing tough policemen and military men. He was also in a lot of Westerns, particularly Gunsmoke, in which he guest starred in 12 episodes. Fun fact: He appeared in one episode of Battlestar: Galactica with Lorne Greene. My family most recently noticed him on an episode of the Dick Van Dyke Show, "The Talented Neighborhood." Ken passed away in 1990.
