Judith Clare Boutin, later took on the name Judi Meredith.
Judith was a figure skater who became a professional star performer with the Ice Follies. She broke her back in an accident, but returned to skating until she broke her knee cap and was advised by doctors to stop.
She married director Gary Nelson with whom she had two sons Garrett Nelson, Blue Nelson
In the 1959-1960 television season, Meredith played Monique Deveraux, a young French woman, in the CBS western series Hotel de Paree.. Throughout the 1960s and through early 1970s, Meredith worked steadily, mostly as a guest performer in several American TV series, including Bonanza, 87th Precinct, Wagon Train, Gunsmoke, Laramie, Have Gun – Will Travel, Death Valley Days, Mannix, The Tall Man, and Hawaii Five-O. Her last screen credit was a guest appearance on a 1973 episode of Toma, following which she retired from acting and left the public eye.
Judi was an avid photographer and enjoyed yearly trips to a ranch in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming with Gary and their two sons, Garrett and Blue. She also enjoyed a life-long passion for her rose garden and always supported her husband on film and television locations around the world. When not filming, they spent their time cruising on their yacht throughout the Caribbean.
Judi Meredith passed away April 30, 2014, aged 77
