Here's some trivia about Dawn: She auditioned for the role of Lois Lane in Superman 1978 but, lost the role to Magot Kidder.
She is the spokeswoman for Idaho potatoes since 2004.
Has been asked along with Gilligan co-star Tina Louise to appear in television ad campaigns for years. But, the two do not like each other and haven't spoken in years. So, turned down the offers. One of them was to be an Old Navy commercial with them in character as Mary Ann and Ginger still stuck on the island.
