Paul Richards appeared in "The Lonely House" as Trock, the injured bank robber whom Joe and Lee Bolden help (and who falls in love with Lee and reforms). His character was a multi-faceted one, and I thought he did a great job! Paul also appeared in two other Bonanza episodes: "A Woman in the House" (as Russ Wharton) and "Catch as Catch Can" (as Amos T. Parker).



Paul was born in Hollywood, California in 1924. He attended UCLA, where he got a master's degree in theatre. His first movie appearance was in Fixed Bayonets! in 1951 (he was uncredited). He appeared in the Zorro TV show in 1959 three times; he had a regular role as Dr. McKinley Thompson in Breaking Point; and he played Mendez in Beneath the Planet of the Apes. He was also in a lot of other westerns such as Gunsmoke. Paul died of cancer in 1974 at the age of 60.
