So I wandered into Boomers originally watching someone I know. Long story there and won't get into but that person has been gone awhile and I'm still here and more involved than ever! I don't have any desire to be leaving so I realized I had the wrong state down to sort of hide and I've never introduced myself. Taking care of that now! My real name is Mary and I'm from eastern Iowa. Everything else and especially what I've written has been all real! I grew up in the 60's watching all the westerns and loving Bonanza. We lived in southern Illinois across from St Louis and I thought I was going to have a heart attack when I got to see Little Joe on Cochise at a rodeo.
I live in eastern Iowa with my husband, 3 dogs and 7 horses. I work as a geologist for the state and check quarries in our area. We have 3 children - 2 sons and a daughter.
