Another Western Makes It's TV Appearance!

The Cannon family runs the High Chaparral Ranch in the Arizona Territory in the 1870s. Check out another western by David Dortort.

Premiering in 1967, The High Chaparral co-starred many actors who had been guest stars on Bonanza. Do you recognize them? We will be discussing the connections as we talk about David Dortort's other successful western!

Pine, after looking at the picture, I hadn't realized how many of The High Chaparral cast were former guest stars on Bonanza. That's really interesting.

HC was one of my alltime favorites! I liked all of the characters and how they interacted.

I may have tomatoes thrown at me, Jim, but I have to say that The High Chaparral was actually my favorite western! Bonanza just happens to have my favorite cowboy on it!!

I am working at getting photos together for this forum, and then we can start talking about the show!

I have purchased the first 2 seasons of HC and I have to say that I appreciate the series even more now. I was a big fan before, but even bigger now.
