Been a while since ansi hopped across from Mike's Little House to the 'Hossienda', so I am well looking forward to this visit.
This week I'm going to be - as the POD title indicates - focusing on Hoss' education ... which I may add didn't all come via the schoolroom.
From the pilot episode 'ARFL' it was made clear Hoss was strong as an ox - not many men can lift a carriage with one hand.
He also was able to shoe a stubborn horse quicker than you could say ... hmmm
shoo! 
The big man wasn't academically smart like his elder brother nor cunningly clever like his younger sibling ... but, Hoss Cartwright was no 'daw'!
