Thinking it may be the best possible hiding place from a lion attack, Ben climbs into the cannon. Meanwhile Little Joe has been watching all this, and seeing the chance of a lifetime, sneaks over to the cannon and lights the fuse.

It is possible that Adam has already shot himself onto the trapeze with the cannon that Ben sees in the picture, as he has fled from the lion. Ben should do th same as soon as possible. :grin Janet, looking forward what is going on further in the circus! :yes That's an interesting theory. :whistling

Thursday


Ben wonders what happened to Adam who calls to him from his hiding place above. The lion roars again and Ben takes off. He sees a sign for one of the circus acts which gives him an idea.

Suddenly the lion lets out a mighty roar and Adam makes a run for it. The lion swipes at Ben, who is caught by surprise.
