Re: Episode 154 - BULLET FOR A BRIDE

This is a good episode until the end. Ugghhh. Ben is so wonderful he sends the swindlers on their way with a letter for a job in San Francisco. Obviously Papa Marxus and Lon didn't want to work or they wouldn't be looking for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Why couldn't the Ben Cartwright ...

Re: Episode 238 - A TIME TO STEP DOWN

It's sad when a man you always looked up to has aged and isn't as good at his job anymore. Many places find reasons to fire older people. Tolliver first helped to kidnap Joe but had a change of heart and rescued him. He had worked for them for many years so he was forgiven for helping to kidnap Joe....

Re: Episode 210 - THE MEREDITH SMITH

This is a fun episode. Not one of the best but just a lot of fun watching so many people coming into town claiming to be Meredith Smith all for an inheritance! :ha

Re: Episode 13 - VENDETTA

I know nothing about guns except that when they are tossed around or twirled [ Joe style] they can backfire on you. The scene with Joe twirling his gun-the director told Michael it looked like he enjoyed killing someone and Michael wanted to re-shoot the scene. He didn't want to look like a gunsling...

Re: Episode 139 - THE TOY SOLDIER

I love the beginning of this episode. It's very funny. I love Adam but he deserved to be put in the trough. His brothers had been busy fixing the wagon wheels & all he had been doing was riding. His clothes are clean but he's "complaining" about how dusty & windy the road was. If I had been there, ...

Re: Episode 177 - BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH

Whether his counsel is wanted or not sometimes Joe needs something more than Adam's words I would have liked to see H give Joe a speech similar to the one in Reluctant Rebel if only to show him that his problem is getting tiresome The Bz writers probably wanted a clean path to Ben's solution so the...

Re: Episode 131 - THE THUNDER MAN

I saw this for the second time the other day. I think it's a great ep, although it is really disturbing, but I think it's really well done. Poole is so creepy and it is a bit graphic in some places, especially when he grabs the older piano playing lady by the throat and later carries her in dead, i...

I love when they were giving Willow a makeover! I never knew Joe could use hot irons to curl a ladies hair. I never looked at the staircase. I'll have to pay attention to it next time. :laughing

Re: Episode 131 - THE THUNDER MAN

I liked Joe's birthday party. Poole, not so much. To be honest, I watched this episode for the first time last night, and let's just say, this is one of those episodes where one viewing is enough. It was terrifying! Even though Poole got what was coming to him at the end, it still didn't satisfy me...
