Re: Episode 335 - THE WITNESS

I do like Jenny and I don't blame her one bit when she had a crush on Joe. I did feel sorry for her because of the way her father treated her. She seemed like a nice girl who need a friend and needed attention, which was why she made up the story of being a witness to begin with. :grin

Re: Episode 403 - WARBONNET

This is an excellent episode. It does have a bit of a 'Michael' feel to it, possibly because in the later seasons Michael was also the shows main producer. I love that a real Indian was used instead of someone dressed as one. I wish we could have seen more of Chief Dan George. He looked so proud whe...

Re: Episode 388 - KINGDOM OF FEAR

As Colin mentioned above, Michael wrote this and it had already been acted out and directed but was shelved after the assassinations of Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King,Jr. It was quite a scary episode having the Cartwrights and Candy being kept as slave labor. The dogs were trained to act mean...

Re: "The Fall Guy" Guest Stars

I recently saw on a Virginian FB fan page that a fan had met Lee at a comic-con type of event in England, and he spoke of his friendship with Doug and James Drury. It lends that he'd have invited them to be on The Fall Guy later on. Lee was in The Men From Shiloh, which was a continuance of The Vir...

After the dynamite blows and Ben chases after Garrett and Whitney, Lorne Greene's pants have split in the crotch.

It's funny how the eyes are drawn to these little mishaps. In The Last Viking it was Joe that had a split! :rotfl

Re: Episode 1 - A ROSE FOR LOTTA

Yes, the first episode was not very good. It was written by David Dortort, Bonanza's creator and producer. Even the actor's themselves didn't like the episode. A lot of things soon changed. First to go was the way Ben wanted to kill anyone who trespassed on his land. Lorne suggested they welcome gue...

Re: Episode 294 - COMMITMENT AT ANGELUS

The episode is a good one but sometimes hard to get into. After Candy is injured, Joe meets up with a friend named Steve to take Candy's place. Steve is thrown by a horse and killed. Joe feels guilty because of Steve's death and tries to help the miners where Steve was a miner. Cases of dynamite are...

It took me a while to warm up to Jamie but he really was a good actor. There were several 'Jamie' episodes that were really good. :grin

Wow! That's really interesting. Fingerprints [ or chops] go back many centuries. That's just what Hop Sing explains in The Mark Of Guilt. :hopsing1 :very happy

Re: Episode 416 - FOREVER

I agree. This was a very sad time considering it was only a few weeks that Dan had died. There was a lot of sadness on the set and according to a crew member nobody knew where Michael was. Mitch Vogel said he was behind some of the buildings, holding Dan's picture, crying. Lorne said to leave him al...
