Re: The Big Valley ~ 1965-1969

I still love to watch The Big Valley but watch often and you'll notice many episodes stole from Bonanza or vice versa. I don't know which. Linda Evens was so close to Barbara that there was some jealousy concerning Barbara's son. Lee Majors started directing after leaving The Big Valley, while starr...

Re: TV Western Theme Songs

I love those old western themes! They sometimes stick in my head for several days, especially the Rawhide theme and of course, Cheyanne. :laughing

Re: Episode 28 - SAN FRANCISCO

I've seen that on Johnny Carson. Michael told some pretty good stories on there, sometimes about the cast and sometimes his family [ the dead bunny was my favorite!] I still watch on YouTube. :tvsmiley

Re: Rawhide ~ 1959 - 1966

I took the time to look up Eric Fleming. He had an unbelievably hard life. He was born with a clubfoot and had a very mean father who used to beat both him and his mother. He ran away from home when he was only 8 yrs. old to avoid being beaten. A policeman found him at age 11 and took him back to hi...

Re: Episode 24 - THE STRANGER

I don't understand why the Cartwrights weren't suspicious of LeDuque when he insisted on a pack trip back to New Orleans instead of taking the stage. That should have set off alarms for Adam and Hoss at least. I have a feeling that Ben knew LeDuque had no intentions of getting him to New Orleans al...

Re: Rawhide ~ 1959 - 1966

I used to love watching Rawhide. It was a good show. All I do is think of Rawhide and I'll have that theme song going in my head the rest of the day! That was a very catchy tune. Oh, my! I didn't know that about Eric Fleming! That is so sad. :sob

Re: Episode 205 - THE BRASS BOX

I've only seen this episode a few times. I know noticed Lorne's bruise. Jose' Ortega was a kind man but his son was not. He was a greedy man and a bully. It was an ok episode. It explains a version of how the Ponderosa became Ben's. :ranch2

Re: Episode 18 - A HOUSE DIVIDED

This picture of Marie looked nothing like the later pictures that were used and I think it was in this episode she was called Felicia and had dark hair. In the later episodes she was Marie and blond. The writers couldn't get their stories straight! :laughing She was called ‘Felicia,’ in “A Rose for...

Re: The Rifleman

Johnny played in one episode of Little House, I think The Hunters, where Charles was shot when his rifle fell and a blind man [ Burk Ives] had to get help led by Laura. Johnny played the man's son. Johnny had pretty much quit acting. :sad
