Re: Episode 81 - LAND GRAB

Saw this again today. An okay ep, but a bit of a mixture, flitting between very serious and almost comic. Ben and Joe were very serious when talking to the first would-be homesteaders, but didn't treat the two women at all seriously. The sudden switch to comic reaction felt a bit off for me, such a ...

Re: Episode 80 - GABRIELLE

Saw this again today and did quite enjoy it. It always bugs me when people say, "Please don't cry". I mean, her parents had just been killed, why shouldn't she cry! :shrug She did a very good job of walking in the snow and appearing blind, I thought. :thumbup I usually can't stand crooning...

Haha, it does look like that, but he did actually move, so he was real! :laughing

Re: Episode 394 - THE PRISONERS

Saw this again today, really great ep with some great dialogue. A very clever, shrewd and manipulative baddie. :thumbup He is so infuriating that he actually has Joe shaking with fury a couple of times! :ohmy Love the way that Joe finally gets the better of him by ignoring him: d.JPG I've heard Joe ...

Re: Episode 394 - THE PRISONERS

I don't think Joe would've hit that boy because it was out of character for him. He probably would have shoved him. If you watch closely Joe hit him before he raised the knife. It was out of character for him. I don't think he had a choice really. He also gave that girl a back hander in Journey to ...

Re: Episode 79 - THE TIN BADGE

Saw this again today, very good ep, good plot, thoroughly enjoyed. :thumbup I wondered what Joe was doing in Rubicon in the first place, did he just used to pop in to visit the girl he was infatuated with and how often did he visit her? Not sure how far it was supposed to be. When she rode to the Po...

Re: Episode 391 - FALLEN WOMAN

This one is ok but the woman could have done better. I can't understand no matter how far they rode in the wagon her drunk husband is always right up with them. He had magic powers to find Ben's wagon no matter where he went! Are you thinking of A Woman in the House? Her hubby was a drunk. :thumbup

Yes, agree, would have been interesting. :thumbup
