I love to speculate on the small changes that would occur in this episode had Ben's backstory of a life at sea already been set.
I don't get ya. What do you mean?

Re: Episode 28 - SAN FRANCISCO

I was wondering if Adam would have fallen for that "Let's step to the end of the bar" routine and fallen through the trap door.

Re: Episode 28 - SAN FRANCISCO

Watched this episode on TV Land today. First time I'd seen it. I laughed and I laughed. Ben dropping through the trap door was quite the site. Then he is pawed at, dragged, pushed and shoved around and then they put him in black clothing. What a trip this episode is! I couldn't quite figure out why ...

Re: Episode 379 - A DECK OF ACES

I watched A Deck of Aces and One Ace Too Many. Hilarious. Lorne Greene was outstanding. I had a grin on my face during both episodes and laughed (yes, out loud). I imagine Mr. Greene enjoyed playing Ben's doppelganger. He was just so good at it. Where Ben is not so much a womanizer, Meredith is and ...

Re: Episode 230 - THE UNWRITTEN COMMANDMENT

Tuned into MeTV this afternoon and was taken by surprise when I saw Wayne Newton appear. He made about a zillion appearances on television back in the day. A very popular showman. And in that time period, it seemed like anybody who recorded smash hits was suddenly cast in a western show or movie. Fo...

Re: Episode 13 - VENDETTA

I enjoyed it very much. A very powerful, violent episode compared to later episodes in the series. I thought that the townsfolk may have been safe if they'd gotten on the roofs of buildings and take aim from there. To cop out on the Cartwrights was just plain wrong. This was a first time viewing for...

They're running out of water, heading to Pernell Springs. Did I hear that correctly?
No. It's Pennell Springs in Nevada
Thanks. Must have old Pern on my mind again.

Re: Episode 86 - THE AULD SOD

Hard to imagine the Lord of the Ponderosa letting the house go like that.

Finally got a peak into Joe's room. The first thing that came to mind was that he should have his high school pennant tacked up on the wall. Ponderosa High - go team - yay! And maybe a copy of Keen Teen Magazine on his pillow.
