Re: Episode 67 - THE SMILER

Totally creepy episode. Felt Hoss' frustration throughout. Pa to the rescue! Ben certainly turned out to be a crackerjack shot. I wonder if he learned that growing up in New England or just from experiences out in the wild, wild west?

Re: First Impressions

What did you think of Zorro the very first time you saw him? I watched some episodes last night, and at first all I could see him as was Will from the Bonanza episode, "Return to Honor." But he was so comical, so wonderfully handsome here! :grin His clothes were the most elaborate I've seen yet, bu...

Re: Tales of The Texas Rangers 1955-1958

Reminiscent of the kiddie show Boomtown here in New England many, many moons ago, hosted by Rex Trailer. Boomtown was a children's television show that ran, on WBZ Channel 4 in Boston, for eighteen years. The host was Rex Trailer. It featured songs, rope tricks, cartoons and a weekly "wanted man" wh...

This sounds a bit familiar. My parents may have turned it on a few times but I was pretty young. :laughing
Sure you were.

Lorne Greene was a wonderful actor. That's a powerful Joe and Pa moment at the end of the episode!
I can't really tell for sure, but I think Ben kisses the top of Joe's head in that scene at the end. My favorite episodes with Joe are most definitely the ones with him and his Pa.

Re: Episode 59 - THE GIFT

I often go to IMDB for additional info on the series. Tonight is the second time that a reviewer has called Lorne Greene an over the top hambone. I don't know about you guys, but I just don't see it. A reviewer for The Gift said that LG was a big, fat canned ham. Gee! I love Lorne's acting. I think ...

Re: Episode 59 - THE GIFT

And natch TV Land cut out the shirtless Adam part so they could fit in more commercial time. TVLand fails to see the importance of certain parts of episodes. I think they do this on purpose! :mad I just sneaked a quick peak via You Tube on my cell phone. That scene can't be much more than thirty se...

Re: Episode 59 - THE GIFT

A powerful episode. My first time seeing it. Always a pleasure to see Martin Landau. I thought he was only great in this role, blue eyes or no. And natch TV Land cut out the shirtless Adam part so they could fit in more commercial time. I will have to watch it You Tube. Another powerful father/son e...

Re: Episode 47 - THE BLOODLINE

Wow! What a powerful episode. Ben nearly breaking down crying. I have to see this one again. Real soon. I was doing housework and junk during commercials and missed a bit of it. Jeepers, Lorne Greene was exceptional in this episode. Well, when isn't he exceptional? Dan Blocker gave his usual stellar...

Re: Episode 45 - SILENT THUNDER

Wow. I have a new respect for ML. I really enjoyed this episode. A little short on Ben, but at least he got a good one in, "Don't you raise your voice to me, boy!"
An excellent Little Joe episode.
