Re: Episode 117 - ELEGY FOR A HANGMAN

Yes, I agree with those wonderful scenes you mentioned Adamant! I also like the scene where Adam disarms the gunfighter.

Re: Episode 117 - ELEGY FOR A HANGMAN

This episode is really a strange one. As Drifter says there are many good scenes. Sadly this is about how the railroad could do just about anything back then and they did. This is one where Ben should have been backing his son. He does tell him to do what he thinks best, but at the end he should hav...

Re: Episode 144 - THE WAITING GAME

January I have heard that story but it also was explained that to increase their salaries they all signed for an extra year after the first season. That would be six years, which he did complete. He fulfilled his part of the contract. He did ask to leave and miss the bit parts he had in the last 5 e...

Re: Episode 144 - THE WAITING GAME

I like the Laura episodes but as others state they aren’t the best written. There are inconsistencies and holes in the plots. I am not going to rehash what has been stated very skillfully . A few things to point out however. They spent a lot of time and effort to promote Adam getting a bride. I was ...

Does this plot sound familiar?

A vengeful ex-convict (Lee Marvin) kidnaps Garth, intending to use torture to reduce him to savagery. On today on Insp.TV.
I wonder if the same writer wrote this script? :whistling

Re: Episode 122 - THE ACTRESS

[quote="Adamant As for the episode...meh. Patricia Crowley, although lovely, is shrill and annoying. Glad Joe comes to his senses. But Adam has her number early on.[/quote] I have to agree. I never cared for her acting. She plays herself. This was how she acted in Please Don’t Eat The Daisies TV Sho...

Re: Episode 122 - THE ACTRESS

This is not a great episode and not a very good Joe episode. Everyone tries to help this girl and she is very self absorbed. I forget if she wears a blue dress or not but certainly glad she got to be an actress elsewhere.

Re: Episode 121 - THE HAYBURNER

I love this episode and it is better than Ponderosa Matador which is also very funny. I have commented earlier but I see no one mentioned the scene while they are about to have coffee and pie and Cora asks if Adam and Hoss if they missed LJ. Adam sarcastically replies "If we were, we're over it now"...
