Re: The Lone Ranger ~ 1949-1957

There’s a lot of information here that I didn’t know. Tracy, you are very thorough. I was too young to remember or see the live broadcasts, but I remember every Saturday morning seeing it played in reruns. I use to think The Lone Ranger was saying “Hi-Ho, Silver” :ha

Re: Episode 77 - DAY OF THE DRAGON

It’s been a while since seeing this episode, but there’s certain things I find intriguing: Joe not knowing what a girl is; Hop Sing willingly sharing his kitchen; and Adam peeling potatoes. I know it’s not a big deal, the way he does it...I wouldn’t mind him helping out in my kitchen, among other t...

Re: Episode 126 - ANY FRIEND OF WALTER'S

I just watched the Walter episodes a few nights ago. Then I watched a few of the Laura Dayton episodes. To this day I can't understand why Walter seemed to have more common sense than Laura even though they were both blond. When Walter had a headache, he just took it easy. Laura on the other hand, ...

Laura seemed to have chemistry with Adam until the show told her not to! :grin
I agree. At the dance and Adam kissed her, I thought their was chemistry

Re: Episode 233 - HOME FROM THE SEA

No Gilly looks nothing like our Adam. His hair isn't even as dark as Adam's. Come on Ben! I'm not s fan of this episode because Adam is mentioned and I'm waiting for him to come home from the sea. I'm not crazy about Gilly. How could he not know the saddle was backwards? As the main mode of transpo...

Re: The Big Valley ~ 1965-1969

Of course we watched TBV because my mother loved Barbara Stanwyck. I didn’t mind though andI loved Richard Long. I couldn’t stand Nick, he was such a hot head. I loved the first season and of course the 2 episodes PR was in later in the show. Nick was my least favorite but I think it was just the p...

Re: Episode 26 - THE AVENGER

I agree, not one of my favourite episodes. I find the ending frustrating. Ben and Adam are on the hanging platform, have had a noose put around their neck, have minutes left to live, they are about to DIE for goodness sake!!, and then when released they both seem very calm and are able to walk away...

@daisy60 I have read that to. The tragic part was if he and several of the cast hadn’t been fired to save money and change up the program, he might not have been in that movie. Rapids tend to be around large rocks or boulders. Maybe he hit his head on one.

Re: Episode 24 - THE STRANGER

@flabirder You are correct Joe would have not listened, but depending on the episode’s writer HOSS AND Adam could disobey too. I find the characters were not set in stone. It served the writer’s purpose to have them obey.
