Re: Episode 158 - NO LESS A MAN

Just because of you I explored the episode I never saw before. It was quite dramatically, sure it was shortened in Bonanza style. How else that would be work in that short time of an episode? So my resume is, Roy Coffee was THE leading man. I wondered all the time about these strong allegations agai...

Re: Episode 145 - THE LEGACY

What gets me very mouch of that episode is Ben's worrying for his boys. As a parent by myself, I can feel his uncertainty about what of his education worked in the end. And his big relief THAT it has been working!!! We all are people with so many different Features that one cannot be safe what works...

Re: Episode 36 - THE MILL

I thought about that some time, Tracy. Wouldn't it be possible that Ben spent time somewhere else together with his sons? The only "fact" we know is the relationship Ben/Joyce at that time. Closely enought sharing thoughts like that with the other one. Unusual for this time period, I guess.

Re: Episode 36 - THE MILL

"The Mill" is one of my favourite episodes of Bonanza - especially because all of the 4 of them Cartwrights are acting together throughout the whole time. What gets me, too, was Ben (despite the fact, that Ben gets me everytime - but in another way :drool ). He seemed to be completely clear about a ...

Re: Episode 323 - THE CLARION

I am still not through with all Bonanza episodes. Until now my favourite season is number 10, since Ben is looking so handsome during these days :drool 'The Clarion' is an Episode I like very much. As I understood, Ben was best man to Ruth Manning's late husband? In the end I felt a little sweetness...

Yes, you are right. But it is also sad to see that he is failing everytime when he tries to get THE woman... Know what I mean?!

Sarah is an extraordinary character, strong but vulnerable at the same time. Sympathetic!!

Re: Episode 208 - DEVIL ON HER SHOULDER

Gradually, I realise that Ben is kissing a woman more often than I expected at a series like Bonanza. But I like it. In comparison to this Episode - the story is maybe too profound putting it into only about 45 minutes.

Re: Episode 71 - THE BURMA RARITY

Tough to explain ... The way Clementine was using it, it's an endearment like sweetie, sweetheart, dear, darling but it's not used anymore. The way the word is used in the Episode Guide, it means charming or delightful. But, again, the road is no longer used in common vernacular. Thank you for your...
