I notice a lot of time various locations look exactly like the Ponderosa. Even some of their friends had the same floor arrangements and even that Indian painting in Joe's room appears in someone else's living room or in a bar. They must have a run-off of those paintings! :rotfl

That is a lot of 'pa's in there. I think part of it was that Lorne was too young to be his and Dan's pa. It worked for Mike just fine since he always called Lorne 'pa'.

In most episodes Joe was born on the Ponderosa but in The Storm Joe said he was born in New Orleans and even made mud pies with Laura! They all must have lived there for a few years, at least in The Storm.The writers never get their facts straight. :rotfl

The steering guy probably had a small steering wheel or lever to make sure the wagon stays on the road. Michael said in an interview that all of them had to be trained on driving a wagon. I like the episode, especially how well Michael and Victor French worked together. I could see them becoming friends and working together in the future. I don't like Sandy Duncun's part in this. That was just a stupid way to fill in part of the episode. :shrug
