Re: Episode 201 - THE SPOTLIGHT

I love that area with the bridge. It reminds me a bit of when I was child, traveling between Florida and Ohio. There were a few places in Tennessee wuth bridges [ there were no interstates yet] We'd sometimes sray at a motel with a lake and a bridge to get there. It was more fun and scenic to travel...

Re: Episode 171 - THE WILD ONE

I think it was Scenery Of The Ponderosa the black horse was named Blackie and was in many Bonanza episodes. He appeared in one episode with a dab of paint on his face. He certainly was a beautiful horse! I notice the area where he's running is the exact same location. It was probably filmed once and...

Re: Episode 171 - THE WILD ONE

Oh, my goodness. I never knew they were sometimes cruel to the horses. This isn't the way it's shown in any of the western TV shows or movies. I hope they're much more gentle with the horses today. It's much better to win these beautiful animals over first by talking to them, petting them and giving...

This one doesn't hold my interest much either. I know Ben is there to help the newspaper woman but this could have been better. :readpaper

Re: Episode 125 - A WOMAN LOST

I've never been a fan of this episode but I can't help but admire Rita Marow. She spent a lot of her life helping low income Indians, especially children. She was also traveling with Michael Landon years ago when he got on the plane he had a massive seizure and had to be carried off the plane. She t...

I think Hop Sing and Sheriff Coffee both called him Little Joe right to the end! :rotfl

Re: Episode 123 - A STRANGER PASSED THIS WAY

I thought it was rather odd that if Hodd didn't recognize any of them they were going to let him go with taht strange couple! You'd think Ben, Adam or Joe would have said 'absolutely not!' and show them to the door. :fit

Re: Episode 322 - COMPANY OF FORGOTTEN MEN

It's an ok episode. I haven't seen it for a while. Candy was an army 'brat' so it was a good Candy episode. Candy is smart. He must have figured them out pretty quickly and ended up in trouble. Somehow the Cartwrights rescue him and help save the Carson City bank as well. :shoot2

Is this the one you mean @daisy60? This is from The Spitfire: a.JPG That's another one! I think Joe's pants split sometimes accidently on purpose. The wardrobe dept. seemed to understand we'd be watching these shows pretty closely years later! :rotfl

Re: Episode 18 - A HOUSE DIVIDED

Haha, yeah. Saw that ep yesterday, actually! :thumbup In The Tin Badge Joe gets a lot of stick for being a boy and everyone seems to laugh at him and not take him seriously for being so young. :laughing When you're young everyoe needs to remind you that you're too young to know anything and when yo...
