Is The Dark Gate the last episode where he wore anything other than black?

When he shoots the bottle out of the guy's hand in Toy Soldier is one of my favorites.
There's also a pretty decent shoot-out at the end of The Hopefuls.

In "A Stranger Passed This Way" He did tell Hoss that his horse was named Chubby.

I don't recall any mentions of Adam's horse's name.

Yes that was the only time I know of where he talked to his horse. In the episode where Hoss lost his memory, he told Hoss that his horse was named "Chubby".

I find it interesting how he still had the brown gun belt while Adam was wearing all black. And then the gun belt was black but it still looked like the pants belt was brown. I see potential for a great fan fiction about his slow and gradual transition to all black.

I am wondering why The Savage doesn't rank very high?
