In this episode of A Pink Cloud Comes from Old Cathay, Hoss orders some fireworks but received Tai Lee instead. She turned out to be quiet a firecracker herself.

Marlo Thomas was born November 21st 1937 in Dearfiled, Michigan. She is the eldest of three children and her father was the famous Danny Thomas.
She attended college and became a school teacher after graduation, but soon discovered teaching wasn't for her.
Marlo began with early TV appearances in the late 1950s on such series as "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis" in 1959, "Zane Grey Theater" 1956 and "Thriller" 1960. Her first major break came when she was cast as Joey Bishop's sister and aspiring actress on the 1961 sitcom "The Joey Bishop Show", for one season. She continued to build up her resume with assorted guest shots on "Bonanza" in 1964, "McHale's Navy" , "The Donna Reed Show" and "Ben Casey". Following her delightful work on the London stage with "Barefoot in the Park" in 1965, she was finally given the opportunity to test for her own sitcom and passed with flying colors. Audiences adored the romantic entanglements and struggling ambition of "Ann Marie", a single, independent and very trendy young woman trying to make it as an actress in New York City in "That Girl".
She appeared in a few movies and did some thearte as well.
In 1973, Marlo Thomas joined Gloria Steinem, Patricia Carbine, and Letty Cottin Pogrebin as the founders of the country’s first women’s fund, the Ms. Foundation for Women. The organization was created to deliver funding and other resources to organizations that were presenting women’s voices in communities nationwide.
Marlo Thomas is also active with the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where she serves as the national outreach director which was started by her late father, Danny Thomas. The organization helps gravely ill young children.
Marlo had a "relationship" with playwright Herb Gardner. She later married Phil Donahue in 1980, and she has 5 step children from that marriage. There's no record of her having any children of her own.
