A Stranger In Town
I was born in the tight city, but thanks to books and film, Bonanza included, I dreamed of open skies, wide plains, and the wild west. I think I was born with my compass pointed west.
In my relatively short time on earth I've tried my hand at a number of things including teaching foreign language, raising cattle, performing as a semi-professional musician, horse wrangling on a film set, and learning how to sail historical tall ships.
I now live in the rough and quiet country where I work with horses, write books, and drink about as much coffee as Joe.
Some fun facts about my love of Bonanza:
Adam is my favorite. Joe used to be. But I like all of the four Cartwrights.
My favorite episodes are when the four Cartwrights are together.
I study the horses and their riders closely. Woe betide the man with a riding mishap because I will probably catch it. Pernell makes the least mistakes out of the four. :D
I tried watching seasons later than 6, and it didn't work. Call me old fashioned, but I just can't break up the gang.
I'm looking forward to meeting you all and exploring the site! :)

Sounds like you've lived well.

I can't fault your taste in horses or riders, either one.
But not unlike you I find that the four together are always my favorite stories.
