I'm not so sure the writers ran out of ideas as much as they figured if it had got past the network brass and the Office of Standards and Practices before, it wouldn't be hard to get it past again.

...and I suddenly realized something -- Bill Enders' walk is distinctive for its rhythm. You can hear it.

Never heard of that; we use saucers only for the cups and the spoons ... But ok, then PR may have been used to this, too. :grin (You always learn new things here!)
