Re: Episode 32 - DEATH AT DAWN

I had recorded this episode on my DVR and watched it today. It's a good episode, even though I found Farmer Perkins so annoying. I was practically telling him to shut up and wishing the Cartwrights had a gag to stick in his mouth every time he giggled like an idiot. But that scene between Lorne Gree...

Re: Episode 312 - THE SURVIVORS

I love this episode. It's terrible the way Alicia was treated because she had been captured and forced to live with Indians. Her own husband at first refused her Indian son. All of the Cartwrights loved having her and her baby in their home. The baby sure didn't lack for attention! I love the endin...

I always love that scene when Hoss walks in on Calamity Jane in the bathtub.

Hoss: "Oh, Lordy!"

Re: Episode 10 - THE MAGNIFICENT ADAH

I saw this episode once. I was surprised that they got away with the content considering how stringent it was in the early sixties. It was like when I watched "Duel in the Sun" a few years ago. That movie was in the late forties and they put a lot of adult content in it. But this episode was pretty ...

Re: Episode 143 - THE QUALITY OF MERCY

I saw this episode one time and I thought it sounded like it was talking about mercy killing. Personally I only think mercy killing should be for cats or dogs only, not people. If we start doing that to people that's murder. I remember thinking that when I watched "Shindler's List" last year and the...

Re: The Rifleman

Well, there is only one role with Gregory Peck I never cared much for; when he was the pervert in "Duel in the Sun." I am actually surprised that movie made it past the censors in 1947 considering how tight they were. I will never, ever watch that movie again.

Re: The Rifleman

I watch "The Rifleman" too. It is the only thing I ever liked Chuck Conners in. I can't stand him in "The Capture of Grizzly Adams" or in "Roots" where he's Master Tom Moore who rapes the slave women when they arrive at his farm. Lucas McCain was his best role.

Re: The Ricardo Del Amo (Richard Anderson) episodes

I like Richard Anderson, but his character was such a jerk; playing that awful prank on Diego and his father, telling them their ranch had burned down? Although I did like how Zorro's father told him he felt like taking him over his knee and spanking him like he was five years old.
